Priyanka Pedalu, who has been a part of the Marriott family since September 2018, reached out to the Mumbai police vehicle stationed at her society and requested the cops to allow her to volunteer to spread awareness and assist in any way she could as COVID-19 cases begin to spread in Mumbai. She worked with the police for almost half-a-month in April 2020, till the time duty called and she had to get back to work. Pedalu continues to excel as she handles the operation of telephones for the entire hotel single-handedly since her colleagues are unable to get back to work.
