Success Mantras:
“Starting as a manager in a hotel that had mere two properties in its portfolio and that too non-classified, to now leading a hotel chain, when I look back, there are many ups and downs which I have gone through in this long journey. Personally, I feel that my stint with my previous organisation with which I was associated for close to three decades i.e, right from the time it had two properties and helping build that brand from a relatively unknown one to having a robust pan India presence with 12 world-class properties has been my career highlight.
“Working in the hospitality industry teaches you skills you could not learn anywhere else. Some of the personal work philosophies and the lessons that I have learned while working in the hospitality industry are communication, teamwork, multitasking, adapting to different cultures, flexibility, positive attitude, attention to detail, time management and problem-solving ability. However, the mantra of my success is having a clear understanding of arts, science, and commerce of the hospitality industry in addition to sheer dedication, passion, and a willingness to learn. The art of how to conceptualise and develop a hotel or resort keeping in view its feasibility, positioning, designing, planning, adopting smart technology, and ensuring return on investment (ROI). I truly admire and feel proud to be associated with this amazing industry called ‘Hospitality’ where the learning never ends.”
