Bagelstein has unveiled its third India store at Pyramid Food Court in EGL Business Park, Bengaluru. After successful launches in Hyderabad and Delhi in 2025, the brand is now bringing its signature handcrafted bagels, premium coffees, and playful personality to Bengaluru—one of India’s most dynamic hubs for global food and beverage brands.
The launch also featured Bengaluru-based mind reader Abhishek Majitya as a special guest, adding a celebratory touch to the opening.
What the new outlet offers
The Bengaluru store will serve Bagelstein’s oven-fresh bagels, decadent spreads, stacked sandwiches, and desserts, paired with artisanal coffees. Staying true to the brand’s mischievous identity, the space blends a European aesthetic with quirky elements—reflecting Bagelstein’s “Seriously, not serious” spirit.
Riding India’s growing café and bagel culture
With Indian youth increasingly shifting toward western-style indulgences, the café market continues to grow rapidly. Bengaluru, in particular, has emerged as a leading city for experiential dining, creating strong momentum for new-age café concepts and global quick-service brands.
Bagelstein plans to expand aggressively in India, with a target of 100 stores across key cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and more by 2029.
Leadership comments on expansion and consumer demand
Gaurav Marya, Founder & Chairman, Franchise India, said Bagelstein’s bold vibe fits well with India’s young consumers who are increasingly drawn to gourmet café experiences.
Ravish Malhotra, Area Developer, Bagelstein Bengaluru, added that Bengaluru’s vibrant food culture makes it an ideal market for bagels as a growing snack category. He noted that after Hyderabad and Delhi, the Bengaluru launch marks another strong step toward building a loyal community around the brand’s flavours and personality.
