After opening delivery kitchens in New Delhi and Gurugram, Masala Story is set to launch another cloud kitchen in Noida. The brand serves authentic North Indian cuisine to its customers in these cities, most of who have pivoted from dining-in to ordering-in during the pandemic.
Commenting about this, Manav Deep Singh, Co-Founder of The Masala Story said, “We saw a lot of demand coming in from Noida as our existing customers from New Delhi and Gurgaon spoke highly about our offerings and its deliverables. Hence, we decided to open an outlet in the city to be closer to them.”
This word-of-mouth advertising might also be because the company started a loyalty programme, wherein customers get 200 points, which is equivalent to INR 200, on their first online order. They get incremental points or discounts as they continue ordering.
Additionally, catering to heightened hygiene and safety guidelines in the ongoing pandemic, The Masala Story added additional sanitary and social distancing protocols on-site including checking temperature of workers and sanitising the kitchen regularly.
Some of their culinary offerings include freshly cooked Dum Biryani, Kebabs and Phirni. One of the unique aspects of the company is its traditional style of cooking north Indian style food in earthen pots and then carefully delivering the food in these pots. This helps customers to enjoy the fare with minimal mess and a taste of authenticity. This packaging also adopts a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach.
