Marriott has announced the elevation of Juhi Roy to Vice President of Hotel Development, South Asia, marking a significant step in the company’s regional growth strategy.
A Rich Career in Hospitality
In her new role, Juhi will lead the development team for South Asia, overseeing expansion efforts across the region.
Juhi joined Marriott in South Asia in 2012 as Executive Assistant to the SVP of Development. Over the years, she has steadily advanced through the organization, taking on roles including Development Coordinator, Assistant Manager, Director of Development, and most recently, Senior Director of Hotel Development.
A Marriott Leader
During the past seven years, Juhi has been instrumental in driving Marriott’s growth in South Asia, having sourced, negotiated, and signed 91 deals totaling 13,600 rooms. She also holds the distinction of signing the highest number of JW Marriott projects within the development organization.
Prior to joining Marriott, Juhi spent four years with the Hyatt development team and held roles at Hindustan Times Media Ltd. and EY. She began her career in New Delhi with Oberoi, contributing to the marketing of their F&B Loyalty Program. With 28 years of diverse industry experience, Juhi brings deep expertise to her new position.
