Marriott announces Juhi Roy’s promotion to Senior Director of Development,
South Asia. Juhi’s journey with Marriott in South Asia began in 2012, when she joined as an Executive Assistant to the SVP of Development. She later transitioned to the role of Development Coordinator in 2018 and advanced to Assistant Manager, Development in 2019, showcasing her dedication and commitment. Her outstanding performance led to her elevation to Director of Development in 2021.
Over the last six years, Juhi has played a pivotal role in sourcing, negotiating, and finalizing 42 deals comprising 6,200 rooms in the region. Notably, she holds the record within the development organization for signing the highest number of JW Marriott projects.
Before joining Marriott, Juhi assisted the Hyatt development team for four years. Prior to that, she gained valuable experience with Hindustan Times Media Ltd. and Ernst & Young. Juhi began her career journey with Oberoi New Delhi, contributing to the marketing efforts of their F&B Loyalty Programme. She brings 27 years of rich and diverse experience to her new role.
