IndiGo has released a media statement saying that its foremost priority continues to be the care of its customers.

As part of this, following the operational disruption, the airline has stated that all necessary refunds for cancelled flights have been initiated, most of which have already reflected in customers’ accounts, with the remainder following shortly.

For bookings made through travel partner platforms

If the booking was made through a travel partner platform, the airline has also initiated the necessary actions for the refund. As IndiGo may not have the customer’s complete details in its system, the airline requests customers to write to customer.experience@goindigo.in so it can continue to assist promptly.

Support for severely impacted customers

IndiGo acknowledged that customers travelling on 3/4/5 December 2025 who were stranded for many hours at certain airports and severely impacted by congestion will be offered travel vouchers worth INR 10,000. These travel vouchers can be used for any future IndiGo journey for the next 12 months.

Compensation under Government guidelines

This compensation is in addition to the commitment under existing Government guidelines, as per which IndiGo will provide compensation of INR 5,000 to INR 10,000, depending on the block time of the flight, to customers whose flights were cancelled within 24 hours of departure.
