Chef Pooja Dhingra’s Le15 Patisserie teams up with Gourmet Tales Co., to launch Cake Party – a never-seen-before celebration of cakes, community, and creativity. This begins on 18th May 2025 at the iconic Gallops, Mahalaxmi Racecourse.
With over 110 bakers, 110 kgs of cake, and 250+ cake lovers spanning cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Gujarat, and Delhi, the event promises a magical evening of sugar, joy, and shared stories.
An Indian twist on a global trend
Inspired by the viral Cake Picnic trend from the U.S., Le15 Patisserie and Gourmet Tales Co. have taken the concept and given it a unique Indian, curated twist – transforming it into a ticketed, community-led celebration where bakers of all kinds (home bakers, pastry chefs, hobbyists) come together to showcase their best creations.
Sweet experiences and sugary surprises
Guests will experience the thrill of The Great Cake Dash, a fun two-minute sprint to fill up their own cake boxes with their favourite treats. A delightful DIY Cupcake Bar curated by Le15 Patisserie invites attendees to get creative, while a picnic-style setup with music, interactive workshops, and surprise experiences adds to the festive atmosphere. Each participant can take home a specially curated goodie bag, and the event concludes with an exciting meet and greet with Chef Pooja Dhingra herself.
Words from the founders

The Cake Party is something truly from the heart, and I can’t wait to see over 100 bakers come together with their cakes so we can share, connect, and celebrate every bite,” shares Pooja Dhingra, founder of Le15 Patisserie.
“At Gourmet Tales, we’re passionate about creating food events that are not just experiential but also inclusive and rooted in community,” adds Preet Sanghvi, founder of Gourmet Tales Co.
What’s next for Cake Party
