Held at the ISH campus in Gurugram, the event was a vibrant celebration of skill, creativity, and passion, showcasing aspiring chefs, home bakers, and industry professionals.

With the theme “Celebrating Excellence Across the Culinary Spectrum,” Distin-GU-ISH-ED 2025 featured diverse competition categories, attracting participants from across India. The event not only celebrated India’s rich culinary heritage but also encouraged innovation and collaboration among culinary enthusiasts.

The inaugural day saw young chefs competing in various categories, demonstrating technical skill and creativity. A workshop on fusion cuisine allowed students to explore blending global and Indian flavors with guidance from industry experts.

On the second day, home bakers and chefs presented inventive takes on traditional recipes. A masterclass on artisan baking offered insights into handcrafted processes, providing professionals with a chance to refine their craft and learn from culinary experts.
Day Three: Industry Professionals Take the Spotlight
The grand finale featured industry professionals showcasing advanced techniques and presentation, captivating the audience with their mastery. The event concluded with a panel discussion on sustainability, focusing on zero-waste practices and plant-forward menus in commercial kitchens.

Recognizing Excellence: Winners of Distin-GU-ISH-ED 2025
The winners in the Students category, Gargi Bagde, Ravi Kumar Singh, Sanwar Zara Bahadur, and Swati Singh, received trophies from Nestlé and hampers from Ditya. In the Home Cooks & Home Chefs category, Shreshth Agarwal, Sneha, Shweta Arora, Julia, and Ram Anand triumphed, also receiving trophies and hampers.
In the Professionals category, Chef Piyush Rawat, Ramya, Vasudha Sharma, Poorva Joshi, Niharika Arora, Khushi Kaushal, and Sahej Kaur claimed top honors.
