Garner hotels, a midscale conversion brand within the IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) portfolio, today celebrates reaching 100 open hotels globally since its August 2023 launch.
In India, Garner is beginning to build early development momentum, with five hotels signed including Garner Etawah, Garner Kathua, Garner Bhiwadi and Garner Kutch.
Rapid Global Expansion and Strong Pipeline
Garner has nearly 80 hotels in its pipeline across 12 countries, including India, driven by rising demand for conversion projects and faster, cost-efficient development.
Guest-Centric Midscale Offering
Focused on its mission to offer guests “easy going stays that get you on your way,” Garner caters to travelers who prioritise comfort, quality and service at an affordable price point. Each property’s design celebrates the diversity of its home city, and thoughtful amenities prioritise what guests covet most, including comfortable beds, a sound night’s sleep and a great hot breakfast to start the day. Public and in-room workspaces also assist those traveling for business or a mix of work and play.
Leadership Perspective
Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said: “Garner reaching 100 hotels globally in such a short span highlights the strong relevance of the brand’s proposition for both owners and guests worldwide. In India, we are already seeing that momentum translate into owner confidence, with five hotels signed and more in active discussion. Garner’s flexible and cost-efficient model is well suited to support the continued evolution of India’s midscale hospitality landscape while strengthening IHG’s mainstream portfolio in the country. This is just the beginning for Garner.”
