Strengthening the presence of the brand Storii, ITC’s Hotel Group signed two Storii resorts in Rajasthan. With these signings, the chain’s portfolio of managed properties continues its high growth trajectory through the asset-right strategy.
Storii by ITC Hotels, Jaipur, and Storii by ITC Hotels, Jawai, are expected to open in early 2025. Brand Storii will now have a total of three properties within the state of Rajasthan, including the recently announced signing of Storii Jaisalmer.
Speaking on the expansion of Brand Storii, Anil Chadha, Chief Executive of ITC Hotels, said, “Brand Storii is a diverse collection of properties that tell their own unique story, from Portuguese abodes to wellness retreats and an erstwhile castle. Staying true to the nature of the brand, Storii Jaipur and Storii Jawai are set to weave their own stories for our guests through their offerings. The location of the two resorts is perfect for travellers looking to experience the destination while also exploring culture reminiscent of a glorious heritage.”
Thakur Shri Mansingh Kanota, Owner of Castle Kanota, expressed his elation, stating, “Built in 1872, Castle Kanota was the intended official family residence for the Kanota family. We have since hosted many dignitaries and are now in the process of expanding the property into a heritage resort. As the needs of the typical traveller have changed towards experiential travel, we trust ITC Hotels to bring its expertise and nuanced hospitality to this property with the brand Storii.”
Storii Jaipur, the beautiful 150-year-old castle-style resort, shall offer 52 rooms and suites, showcasing the heritage and the modern wing, an all-day dining restaurant and bar, along with about 5,000 square feet of banquet spaces.
Spread across 12 acres, Storii Jaipur is located on the Jaipur-Agra Road, a short drive from the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Set amidst nature, the resort captures the architectural brilliance of the city’s heritage that is witness to the beauty of a bygone era. The central courtyard opens up to the sky, enriching the natural ambience.
Silhouettes of the beautiful sky, the hues of pink of the city, and the surrounding Aravali Hills create a stunning stage for weddings and events. Framed by stunning archways, the resort welcomes you with lush gardens that provide a serene foil to the majestic stonewall exterior.
‘Pink City’ Jaipur is a declared UNESCO World Heritage Site and combines Rajasthan’s timeless history with the state’s renowned warm hospitality. It is a part of the very popular Golden Triangle tourist circuit and serves as a perfect gateway for exploring Rajasthan.
Located less than a two-hour drive from Udaipur, Storii Jawai will feature 15 expansive rooms and suites with private open areas, an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, and a lounge. The resort includes a recreational area with a swimming pool, a fitness centre, and a kids play area.
Jawai, named after the Jawai River, is located midway between Jodhpur and Udaipur. Slowly becoming one of the most preferred offbeat eco-tourism destinations, Jawai is known as a year-round wildlife destination that is home to leopards, birds, and crocodiles. Surrounded by Aravali Hills, it is also a winter paradise for migratory birds, with more than 100 species frequenting it every year from across the world.
Vinita Rathore, Owner of Storii by ITC Hotels, Jawai, stated, “Jawai has come into its own as a wildlife destination in recent years. We are confident that our premium product, along with ITC Hotels’ hospitality expertise, will enable Storii Jawai to position itself as a preferred destination for high-end leisure travellers and wildlife enthusiasts in years to come.”
