Sarovar Hotels appointed Cdr Siddhartha Gargori (Retd) as the Corporate Director of Engineering and Suranjit Sengupta as the Corporate Director of F&B.
Cdr Siddhartha Gargori
Cdr Siddhartha Gargori joins Sarovar Hotels as Corporate Director of Engineering. Siddhartha served the Indian Navy for over 21 years and holds extensive experience in project and programme management, with a focus on technical and greenfield infrastructure projects.
His distinguished career includes eight years of active sea service on various Indian Naval warships, where he effectively managed the maintenance and operation of electrical and weapon equipment and machinery.
In addition to his professional achievements, Siddhartha has demonstrated a passion for training, serving as an instructor to guide cadet officers in various aspects of military training to prepare them as future officers of the Indian Navy.
Siddhartha is a graduate of the Naval College of Engineering, INS Shivaji, Lonavala, holding a BTech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, and an Executive Diploma in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi.
Suranjit Sengupta
Suranjit Sengupta joins as the Corporate Director of Food & Beverage. He has 18 years of experience in the industry, including a decade at Marriott International in key positions such as Hotel Manager at Fairfield by Marriott Jodhpur and Director of Food & Beverage at the JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity. He has also made significant contributions to Hilton Bangalore Embassy Golf Links and Taj Krishna Hyderabad in banqueting operations.
In his prior assignments, his contribution and hard work earned him great recognition, including the ‘Global Event Management (GEM) Award’ and ‘Event Excellence Award for Asia Pacific in 2017’ by Marriott International, which identify and celebrate impressive global event management talent throughout the Marriott Hotels. He has also served as a Wedding consultant for Marriott Asia-Pacific and an Event Advisory Board member for Asia Pacific in 2018, with his exemplary expertise in event management and food & beverage operations.
