Sarovar Hotels launches the Sarovar Leadership Development Programme (SLDP) in partnership with the Indian School of Hospitality (ISH), a leading hospitality institute in Gurugram. The programme aims to provide exceptional career development opportunities for aspiring young professionals in the field of hospitality.
Set to commence on August 12, 2024, the 12-month hybrid programme is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to excel in their careers and become future leaders and change agents.
The programme includes rigorous and comprehensive training that encompasses various aspects of management, leadership, and industry-specific skills, including the study of a broad range of subjects such as business communication, operational finance, information technology, digital marketing, revenue management, etc. Trainees will undergo classroom sessions, online classes, on-the-job training, and mentorship at Hometel Chandigarh, a Sarovar Hotel. Beyond academic support and curriculum development, ISH will also organise boot camps and master classes at Hometel or its campus.
As a part of the programme, the students will be paired with experienced mentors from Sarovar Hotels and ISH who will provide guidance, support, and valuable insights throughout the programme. This mentorship will enable trainees to learn from seasoned professionals to accelerate their personal and professional growth. Trainees will have access to a vast network of industry professionals and leaders, allowing them to build valuable connections and expand their professional network. The cross-functional experience will enable them to understand the intricacies of the industry and develop a holistic perspective.
