Eight Continents Hotels & Resorts has appointed hospitality entrepreneur and loyalty strategist Javed Akhtar to its Advisory Board as the group focuses on long-term growth, asset optimisation and alternative revenue models.
In this role, he will work with the leadership team on loyalty-led growth, experiential revenue integration, alternative monetisation channels, AI-enabled guest engagement and global partnerships.
Industry experience
Javed brings over two decades of experience across hospitality operations, loyalty ecosystems, consumer engagement and AI-led revenue architecture. He began his career as a hotelier, gaining operational insight into occupancy management, guest experience delivery and asset profitability.
He is also the entrepreneur behind TripXOXO, a global experiences aggregator operating across 140+ countries, and leads RewardPort, a consumer promotions and loyalty solutions company in India.
