ibis has appointed Sachin Maheshwary as Cluster General Manager for ibis Mumbai. The move strengthens the brand’s leadership presence in one of its most competitive and high-impact markets in India.
With over two decades of experience across luxury, upscale, and economy segments, Sachin brings operational depth, people-first leadership, and brand-building expertise. In his new role, he will oversee the ibis portfolio in Mumbai, focusing on operational efficiency, guest experience enhancement, and long-term, sustainable growth.
Backed by strong operational experience
Commenting on the appointment, Tejus Jose, Director of Operations, ibis and ibis Styles India, said Sachin’s hands-on operational understanding and collaborative leadership style make him well suited for the Mumbai market, where performance, consistency, and guest satisfaction are critical.
Sachin has previously held senior leadership roles with Accor and IHCL, leading hotel pre-openings, large-scale renovations, and award-winning F&B initiatives. Most recently, he served as General Manager of Novotel Goa Resort and Spa and Novotel Goa Candolim, while also taking on the role of F&B Alchemist for Accor India and South Asia, driving culinary innovation and brand storytelling across the region.
