Sheraton Grand Pune Bund Garden Hotel announces the appointment of Dhananjay Nangare as Director of Rooms. Dhananjay brings with him over 12 years of experience and a proven track record in leadership, innovation, and customer service excellence.
A journey of growth and dedication
Dhananjay began his career as a Front Desk Associate in 2012 and steadily rose through the ranks, most recently serving as the Front Office Manager at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar. There, he managed a Front Office team of 85+, including Front Desk, At Your Service, Guest Relations, Executive Lounge, Bell Desk, Concierge, and Airport Representatives.
He focused on aligning operations with the hotel’s budgetary plans and consistently prioritized guest satisfaction, integrating it into staff and operations meetings. A prudent professional, Dhananjay also played a critical role in managing departmental profitability and developing action plans to meet operational targets.
Academic background and operational excellence
Dhananjay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from Bharti Vidyapeeth University, Pune. His analytical thinking, communication skills, and interpersonal abilities will be key in driving operational excellence and enhancing the overall guest experience in his new role at Sheraton Grand Pune Bund Garden Hotel.
