The Leela Gandhinagar has announced the appointment of Abhesek Roy as its new Executive Sous Chef. A culinary professional with over 15 years of experience, Chef Abhesek brings creativity, precision, and a passion for innovation to The Leela Gandhinagar’s kitchens.
He has been associated with some of India’s most prestigious hospitality brands, including The Leela Palace Bengaluru, The Leela Mumbai, The Lalit Mumbai, Hilton Shillim, and The Willingdon Sports Club.

Chef Abhesek completed his Bachelor’s in Hotel Management from the Global Institute of Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (GIMS), Mumbai. His career spans diverse culinary leadership roles ranging from Demi Chef de Partie to Pre-opening Sous Chef and Brand Chef, reflecting his growth and expertise across varied hospitality settings.
