Chef Rajiv Vimal has been promoted to the role of Executive Chef at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi. He was the Executive Sous Chef at the hotel since March 2012.
In his former role, Chef Rajiv Vimal served as the Executive Chef at The Park, Bangalore for over 2 years. Prior to that, he was the Senior Sous Chef at The Leela Ambience, Gurugram. Among his long list of credentials he has been associated with other reputed organizations such as Hyatt Regency, The Oberoi, and The Apeejay Surrendra Group of hotel. He has not only worked in Food & Beverage production but has also managed kitchen stewarding in his previous professional roles.
His expertise lies in creating fine dining experiences for guests with his exemplary skills in Italian cuisine. Being a highly motivated individual himself, Chef Vimal believes in delivering top-of-the class results by working with a team who is focused and quality driven.
Under his able guidance, The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel’s ‘Dilli 32’ bagged the Times Food guide award . He’s won similar laurels whilst his tenure at the Hyatt Regency as well as The Oberoi , Delhi.
