The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi and The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa have recently announced the appointment of Prerna Daga as multi property assistant director – marketing and communications. Daga brings with her over 14 years of well-rounded experience in the realm of marketing, communications and PR within the luxury segment and hospitality industry. In her new role, she will oversee the implementation of all marketing strategies, overall communications, digital marketing and public relation activities for both the hotels in Delhi NCR.
Announcing the appointment, Rahul Puri, multi property general manager for The Westin Gurgaon and The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa said, “We are pleased to welcome Prerna to our team. Her diverse experience coupled with her marketing acumen and innovative thinking makes her a perfect choice for the role. I am sure that she will successfully lead the PR & marketing communications strategies of both the hotels and contribute to our continued growth and development.”
Commenting on her appointment, Daga, said, “I look forward to working with the amazing team and contributing to the overall growth of two such iconic properties, each unique in their own way – one being a luxury business hotel and the other being a luxurious resort spread over 45 acres of lush greenery; both having already set benchmarks in all realms of hospitality.”
Her last assignment was with PVR Cinemas– The Luxury Collection, where she was heading marketing & PR for the luxury arm comprising formats like Director’s Cut and Gold Class, which aim to enhance the movie-watching experience with bespoke hospitality offerings. Prior to this, she was part of the hospitality industry for over 5 years, in her role as Sr. manager – marketing & communications with Aria Hotels & Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd., the owning company of JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity, where she was pivotal in the pre-opening and launch of the hotel enhancing visibility, streamlining corporate communications and strengthening public relations for the owning company.
