Managed by BluSalzz Hospitality the property marks SM Developers and JDB Group’s debut in boutique hospitality, where design, landscape, and story come together to create stays that linger in memory.

Rooted in the mystic landscape of Mayang, Rhino & River pays homage to Assam’s natural rhythm and serene wilderness. The 16 rooms, crafted in bamboo and wood, open to views of the forest and river. Each space reflects the region’s craft traditions through subtle local details.
At its heart, the Nirban Spa offers therapies inspired by the healing rituals of the Seven Sisters, while evenings unfold with candlelit riverbank dining and the quiet sounds of nature.

Conceived in collaboration with designer Aku Zeliang, the architecture draws from Assam’s monsoon houses and traditional bamboo craft. Built with locally sourced materials, the retreat embraces sustainability through green initiatives, solar pathways, and community-led sourcing. Every detail reflects the belief that true luxury lies in authenticity, comfort in calm, and indulgence in immersion.
