After the opening of Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts’ first hotel in India, the Swissôtel Kolkata, in July, the Swiss-based international hotel chain has signed management contracts for two more hotels in India. These would be the Swissôtel Gurgaon and the Swissôtel Whitefield, Bengaluru.
For both hotels, Swissôtel has partnered with different investee companies of The Xander Group, the leading international private equity firm.
Located within 30 minutes drive from the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Swissôtel Gurgaon will offer 240 well appointed guestrooms and suites. The hotel will also offer world class amenities including, 25,000 sq ft of conference space and ballrooms, a Pürovel Spa and fitness centre, several bars and restaurants serving a range of cuisines, and a beautifully designed pool.
The project is being developed by a company co-promoted by The Xander Group and Kohli One, a leading NCR based developer.
Located about 30 minutes away from the Bengaluru Airport, Swissôtel Whitefield will offer 151 guest rooms and suites.
The amenities for the hotel will include exclusive dining, a rooftop pool and bar, and extensive meeting space for business needs. The project is being developed by Virtuous Retail Limited, a Xander investee company. Both the hotels will open by 2013.
