1. Can you give us a brief on your hospitality journey at Hyatt Place Bharuch.?
It’s been a great journey here in Bharuch, understanding the guests of the city, their love for food and their enthusiasm to celebrate various occasions in the family. Every place teaches you something different and it’s been the same here as well.
2. Since you have had a wonderful career span of 34 years in the industry, What GM learnings do you bring into this hotel?
Keeping a keen focus on all stakeholders of the business – guests, staff, owners, management, government offices, local community – in fact all those people who are impacted by our business; hence any offerings – product or service will be designed / curated keeping this in mind.

3. You mentioned that you started your hospitality journey at the F&B operations of Taj, do you take any special care of the F&B sector of this hotel?
Yes, I do as I regularly sit with my Food & Beverage team to keep working on providing a seamless service that Hyatt as a brand is known for and build on experiences for the guests that are to be executed with humility and yet being professional.
4. How do you describe the hospitality of Hyatt Place Bharuch.?
Building on to Hyatt’s purpose- “We care for people so that they can be their best” the team here strives to provide seamless services 24/7 to all our guests. We are that welcoming place, where our guests find uncomplicated experiences that feel authentic, intuitive and modern.

5. How has technology been intertwined in the hotel?
Technology plays a big part at Hyatt Place Bharuch to create an easy to navigate experience for today’s multi-tasking traveller while being eco-friendly as well as up-to-date too. Smart thermostats and occupancy sensors in-room for temperature monitoring, Swivelling HDTV with Chromecast in every room with all the leading OTT platforms, Hi-speed internet as well as state of the art technology at all our banquet spaces.

7. What are the unique USPs of the hotel?
Highest inventory in the vicinity, multi-level banquet facilities, the only infinity swimming pool in the area, 24/7 fitness center and restaurant offering multi cuisines and a live Teppanyaki counter, grab and go counter offering light snacks and soft beverages as well as the only GBAC certified hotel in the city are some of the major USPs of the hotel.

8. Since Bharuch has a rich history of the boat industry and rich antiquity, Does the culture around reflect the same in the interiors of the hotel?
Yes, it does. River Narmada is just about a km away from the hotel and as one enters the lobby, we have a modern representation that depicts the river. Apart from that Bharuch is known to have an ancient boat building industry; we have artworks resonating the rich heritage of the city.
9. Where do you see yourself taking the brand in the next 2-5 years?
Our main objective here is to serve our guest with the best of the services and products in all luxurious manner. It is the city’s first 5-star international hotel even in such a short span of time since its opening, the people of Bharuch have proven their loyalty as we find many of our guests are repeat clientele, so our definite goal for the upcoming years is providing distinctive experiences and making them World of Hyatt loyalists.
