MakeMyTrip has announced a strategic partnership with Minor Hotels as part of its broader push to expand direct international hotel inventory. Over the past year, MakeMyTrip has sold more than 77,900 unique hotels across 4,350+ cities in 192 countries, reinforcing its position as a preferred platform for Indian travellers booking international stays.
Notably, international hotel bookings on the platform grew 17% in 2025 compared to 2024, with nearly one-third of bookings falling in the premium category, averaging room-night fares above ₹15,000.
Access to 560+ premium and luxury hotels worldwide
Through this collaboration, Indian travellers gain access to Minor Hotels’ diverse global portfolio of over 560 properties. The lineup includes renowned brands such as Anantara Hotels & Resorts, Elewana Collection, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, Minor Reserve Collection, NH Collection Hotels & Resorts, nhow Hotels & Resorts, Avani Hotels & Resorts, NH Hotels & Resorts, Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites, Colbert Collection, The Wolseley Hotels, and iStay Hotels. These properties span major city destinations and resort locations across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, catering to business travel, short breaks, and extended leisure holidays.
Expanding the ‘Loved by Indians’ experience
Currently, 60 Minor Hotels properties are live on the MakeMyTrip platform, with plans to rapidly scale across the group’s global footprint. Of these, 12 properties already carry the ‘Loved by Indians’ tag—a marker that helps travellers identify international hotels offering familiarity and comfort, including Indian-friendly dining options, convenient locations, and easy accessibility. A key focus of the partnership is to expand this designation across more international destinations by aligning offerings with Indian traveller preferences.
Leadership perspectives on the collaboration
Commenting on the partnership, Rajesh Magow, Co-Founder & Group CEO, MakeMyTrip, said the collaboration reflects the company’s commitment to deepening engagement with leading global hospitality groups while enhancing the quality and range of international stays available to Indian travellers.
Ian Di Tullio, Chief Commercial Officer, Minor Hotels, added that India remains a priority growth market for the group, with the partnership enabling Minor Hotels to better tailor experiences, features, and services to the evolving expectations of Indian guests.
