Lone Wolf comes to Uttarakhand

The premium beer brand by Onkara Beverages enters a high-potential, tourist-driven market as part of its national growth strategy.

Lone Wolf by Onkara Beverages & Hospitality has announced the launch of its Wild variant in Uttarakhand. The move marks a significant step in the brand’s ongoing expansion across key Indian markets, strengthening its presence in regions with evolving consumer preferences and a strong appetite for premium beverages.

Uttarakhand’s blend of tourism, lifestyle-driven consumption, and a growing base of urban consumers makes it a strategic choice for Lone Wolf’s next phase of growth.

A Portfolio Built on Craft and Variety

Since its inception, Lone Wolf has positioned itself in the premium beer segment through a focus on quality brewing, flavour innovation, and contemporary styles. The brand’s portfolio includes:

  • Alpha – a refreshing Belgian Witbier
  • Mavrick – a crisp 100% malt lager
  • Wild – a bold, flavour-forward craft brew
  • Strong – a robust variant with a deeper, more intense profile

Together, these offerings reflect Lone Wolf’s aim to cater to consumers seeking variety, distinct flavour profiles, and modern craft experiences.

Leadership Perspective

Commenting on the launch, Atul Kumar Singh, Co-founder & Managing Director, Lone Wolf, shared that entering Uttarakhand aligns with the brand’s vision of taking premium craft beer to diverse audiences across India. He noted that the brand looks forward to building cultural connections in the state while introducing its brews to consumers who value authenticity, flavour, and craftsmanship.

Strong Growth Momentum

Lone Wolf’s expansion has been backed by steady financial and volume growth over recent years. In FY 2022–23, the brand recorded revenues of ₹17 crore, selling over 1.3 lakh cases in its debut year. Sales nearly doubled in FY 2023–24, crossing 2.5 lakh cases and driving revenues beyond ₹41 crore.

In FY 2024–25, Lone Wolf sold 2.8 lakh cases with revenues reaching ₹51 crore. For FY 2025–26, the company projects sales of 3.5 lakh cases and a topline of ₹60 crore, underscoring a consistent upward trajectory.

Aligning with Tourism and Lifestyle Consumption

Uttarakhand’s strong tourist inflow and leisure-driven consumption patterns present an opportunity for Lone Wolf to connect with consumers seeking premium, refreshing brews. The market aligns with the brand’s focus on lifestyle-led drinking occasions, where quality and experience play a central role.

Culture-Led Market Engagement

As part of its entry strategy, Lone Wolf plans to engage with local culture through collaborations spanning music, art, food, festivals, and community-led experiences. These initiatives are aimed at building deeper brand affinity and positioning Lone Wolf as a premium beer brand that is as closely connected to culture as it is to craft.
