Le Méridien Jaipur Resort & Spa announces its achievement of the prestigious ISO 14001:2015 certification, a globally recognized standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS). We received this certification in the month of May, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing journey toward environmental sustainability.

This certification underscores the resort’s commitment to sustainable hospitality by minimizing environmental impact and maximizing resource efficiency. Awarded to organizations that implement effective environmental management frameworks, the ISO 14001:2015 certification affirms our dedication to eco-conscious practices while upholding the highest standards of guest experience.

Impressive Sustainability Score

Le Méridien Jaipur Resort & Spa has achieved an impressive overall sustainability score of 93.5%, earning 18.7 out of 20 points, reflecting strong alignment with Marriott’s environmental standards. In energy management, the resort achieved an 8.8% reduction in energy use, surpassing the baseline by 3.0% and securing 6.0 out of 5.0 points.

The energy use assessment and water reduction project are both completed, each contributing 3.0/3.0 points. Waste reporting has also been fully met, with 5 months of solid waste to landfill reporting and 10 months of food waste diversion, earning 1.0/1.0 points.
