Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel and Residences appoints Nibu Mathew as Director of Food and Beverage

Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel and Residences has hired Nibu Mathew who will take on the role of Director of Food and Beverage

Nibu began his career at the Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra post which he joined Le Meriden Jaipur. Nibu’s journey across the industry has offered him great exposure and the opportunity to work with esteemed brands such as The Oberoi, Marriott and IHG Group.

During his career, Nibu been a part of teams who have pre-opened new food and beverage outlets as well as enhanced their reputation. Nibu’s last stints have seen him deliver excellence at the Park Hyatt Hyderabad and St. Regis Mumbai in the role of Director of Food and Beverage.

On joining, Nibu states, “When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.”

With over 15 years of experience in hospitality, Nibu is committed to his role, and is looking at implementing a conceptual and innovative style of thinking to the current food and beverage segment at the hotel to orchestrate and deliver success.

Apart from work, Nibu pursues his enthusiasm for fitness, especially cycling. Not just fitness, but Nibu knows his way behind the stove as well, living his passion for cooking through experimenting with new recipes.
