Nikhil Sharma is the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for South Asia at Radisson Hotel Group (RHG), headquartered in Gurugram. With over two decades of experience in the hospitality sector, he is at the helm of RHG’s dynamic South Asia region, overseeing a portfolio of more than 180 hotels in operation and development.

In his current role, Nikhil is instrumental in driving the Group’s strategic growth, operational excellence, and revenue expansion across South Asia. He is committed to strengthening leadership in the Indian market, fostering meaningful partnerships, and positioning RHG as an employer of choice within the hospitality ecosystem. His leadership reflects a deep understanding of the region’s unique market dynamics and a visionary approach to hospitality management.

A Distinguished Career Path

Before joining RHG, Nikhil held leadership roles with several prominent hospitality brands. As Market Managing Director for Eurasia at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, he successfully navigated various facets of business operations. As Chief Operating Officer at Ginger Hotels (IHCL), he led the brand’s successful transformation and expansion. Notably, he was a founding member of Lemon Tree Hotels, playing a pivotal role in establishing it as one of India’s fastest-growing upscale hotel chains.

Nikhil’s academic credentials include a degree in Catering and Nutrition from IHM Pusa, New Delhi, along with advanced programs at IIM Bangalore and Cornell University, New York.
