Cygnett Hotels and Resorts has appointed Debasish Chandra as the regional director- pre-opening and development. Chandra will be responsible for formulating new ideas to extend Cygnett group reach in new territories. He will also be responsible for streamlining operations in the existing units and swift pre-openings of the upcoming hotels.
Chandra brings with him 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Speaking on his new role, Chandra said: “Joining any new organisation starts with a little bit of apprehension and question as to what the journey is going to be. All of these disappeared the moment I associated with Cygnett. My focus will be on expanding group’s reach into new territories and pre-opening new hotels.” Prior to joining Cygnett, he spearheaded operations and pre-openings for leading Hotel Groups like The Lalit and Radisson.
