Novotel Pune Viman Nagar has appointed Varun Marwah as director of sales and marketing. As the director of sales and marketing, Marwah will be responsible for maximising hotel’s revenue through result oriented sales and marketing strategies, exploring business opportunities through events, conferences, meetings, etc.
Prior to joining Novotel Pune, he worked as the cluster director of sales at IBIS Pune Viman Nagar and IBIS Pune Hinjewadi. Speaking of his appointment, Marwah said, “I am delighted to be part of the team at Novotel Pune.” An industry expert, Marwah holds an experience of nearly 14 years in hospitality industry converting strategic vision into measurable results at various hotels. He started his career in 2004 with Taj Blue Diamond in f&b service and has grown within the industry.Â
