JW Marriott New Delhi elevates Suranjit Sengupta to Director of Food & Beverage

Suranjit Sengupta has been associated with JW Marriott New Delhi since 2014. He now takes an elevated role of Director of Food and Beverage at the luxury destination in Aerocity, New Delhi, with 4 award-winning food & beverage venues, a room inventory of 511 and an expansive banqueting space of 30,000 sq ft.

Sengupta started working for JW Marriott New Delhi as a Banquet Manager, with past experiences of working in Taj and Hilton hotels. He has also done an accomplished stint in Events as the Director of Events at JW Marriott New Delhi.

Since the past year, he has been leading the entire F&B team as the Food & Beverage Manager. During the times of lockdown in 2020, Sengupta led Marriott’s initiative in bringing the food experience from the hotel to the comfort of homes with Marriott On Wheels, and proficiently established the offerings getting delivered from the hotel’s restaurants. It is his aim to provide experiential dining to all the guests with never-seen-like-before events, restaurant dining with culinary flare.

Sengupta’s contributions and hard work have won him great recognition across the organization and the brand. He has won a “Global Event Management (GEM) Award” and “Event Excellence Award for Asia Pacific in 2017” by Marriott International which identifies and celebrates impressive global event management talent throughout the Marriott Hotels. He has also served as a “Wedding consultant for Marriott Asia-Pacific”, “Event Advisory Board member for Asia Pacific in 2018”,  with his exemplary expertise in event management and food & beverage operations.

Sengupta has been a consistent performer across various job profiles and his experience and skills route towards making each guest happy who has been served by him or under his supervision.
