Building a Hospitality Powerhouse
At the heart of the empire lies CG Hospitality. Under Rahul’s leadership, it operates 209 hotels and resorts with 15,000 keys across 12 countries and 130 destinations. Partnerships with global giants like Marriott, IHCL (Taj, Taj Safari, Vivanta), Jetwing Hotels, DoubleTree by Hilton, and Fairmont stand alongside homegrown brands such as The Fern. By 2028, the portfolio is expected to exceed 600 hotels with more than 30,000 keys.
Strategic Collaborations with Marriott
Among his most defining achievements is the collaboration with Marriott International. Rahul led the conversion of The Farm at San Benito in the Philippines into the first Autograph Collection resort.
Another landmark deal involves Marriott’s new Series by Marriott brand, which will affiliate Fern Hotels. Fern currently operates 87 hotels with 57 more signed across India, with plans to reach 500 by 2030.
