Krave vegeterian fusion food restaurant

How often have you heard that vegetarian cuisine cannot be interesting? Krave, a multicuisine restaurant, in Goregaon and Vile Parle, is all set to challenge this perception with its fusion cuisine. The newly launched restaurants claim that their vegetarian fare combines the best of Indian and continental cuisines, making it the ideal mélange for foodies in the city.

Krave was started by Nevil Kotak and his father, Rajesh, who wanted to create a destination where families could enjoy vegetarian dishes and also tuck into some Jain alternatives. This is often a challenge for this audience who might seek an appetizing selection of Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisines but do not find a place that ticks all the boxes about their expecations.

Krave offers dishes like Pav Bhaji Bruschetta, Dal Makhani Puchka and Biryani Arancini Balls. It also has an in-house bakery where guests can satisfy their sweet tooth with cookies, pastries and desserts. They can also pre-order and customize cakes as per their liking, from regular offerings to exotic pastries like Cheesecake and Nocciola.

Speaking about the restaurant, Nevil Kotak, said, “We wanted to create a great atmosphere for families who wanted to explore with their food. There aren’t enough vegetarian fusion food restaurants and with Krave, we are hoping that people see that vegetarian food can be experimented with.”
