The inception of Sanjay Dutt’s Solaire: From cinema to the kitchen

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will formally enter the hospitality business by opening his first restaurant, Solaire, in Grand Hyatt at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. The restaurant has food entrepreneurs Ishaan Varma and Amit Lakhyani as partners.

International Cuisine and Luxurious Setting

Solaire aims to offer a global menu that spans Asian, Mediterranean, Indian, and Chinese cuisines, blending comfort with luxury.

Reportedly, the décor is expected to feature plush seating, mood lighting, soft golden hues, and interiors designed to create an immersive, upscale ambiance.

Strategic Location and Target Audience

Given the location in BKC Grand Hyatt Mumbai, one of the finest luxury and business hotels in the city, Solaire stands to grab limelight both as a corporate diner and as a joint socialites go to for fine food.

On his Instagram handle, Dutt has written: “I’ve eaten all over the world, now it’s my turn to serve food.”
