The new menu promises a nostalgic voyage through the city's rich culinary and cultural tapestry.

SodaBottleOpenerWala, known for its lively Bombay Irani cafe vibe, is launching an exciting new cocktail menu. Inspired by Parsi and Bombay heritage, the menu features vibrant flavours and refreshing combinations that take guests on a nostalgic journey through the city’s rich culinary and cultural history.

The cocktail menu promises to take patrons on a nostalgic journey through the city’s rich culinary and cultural history. From the comforting warmth of tea Cutting Chai to the aromatic allure of classic Parsi Dairy and the botanical symphony of Hanging Garden & Lemongrass, each concoction on the menu is a meticulously crafted masterpiece.

Here is a look at the highballs, crafted with a nod to Bombay’s bustling streets and historic landmarks:

Hanging Garden & Lemongrass -SodaBottleOpenerWala
  • Crawford Crawl: Featuring an aromatic roasted cumin-infused brandy balanced with acid, salt, and ginger ale.
  • Hanging Garden & Lemongrass: Fat-washed edible coconut oil and curry leaf with aged rum, in-house lemongrass cordial, citrus, salt, and soda. It won’t leave you hanging.
  • Spiked Chowpatty: Coriander seed-infused vodka with in-house cola and basil garlic salt. If you close your eyes and take a sip, you might just smell the sea.
  • Matunga Unfiltered: Inspired by Matunga’s many coffee houses, this wake-up-and-smell-the-coffee number sports an americano, vermouth, in-house orange, and aperol, topped with soda.

Complementing these highballs are the lowballs, which offer robust and intricate flavours:

Parsi Dairy-SodaBottleOpenerWala
  • Walkeshwar Vegan: A sour-style drink with in-house pomegranate and rose cordial, gin, and vegan foam.
  • Herbal Baug: In-house basil and cucumber cordial mingle with dry Chardonnay wine, gin, and salt in this green number. All that’s missing is an Ambassador.
  • Parsi Dairy: Chef Irfan’s favourite! A not-so-serious White Russian with in-house cream-washed vodka and coffee foam. Rumour has it, he has it for dessert.
  • Horniman Full Circle: A twist on a classic old-fashioned. Scotch whisky infused with orange and cinnamon, stirred with orange bitters.
  • Cutting Chai (Serves 2): A spiked version of tapri chai, this cocktail has sweet yet bitter flavours of in-house tea cordial, citrus, sweet vermouth, aperol, and dark rum.

This new menu not only celebrates Bombay’s heritage but also SodaBottleOpenerWala’s commitment to innovation and authenticity.
