Amrut’s Triparva Single Malt whisky has been recognised as “Best in Class” and won the gold medal at the Whisky of the World Competition held in the USA. Also featured in the competition from Amrut’s portfolio was Amrut Fusion Single Malt Whisky, which won a double gold medal. The competition saw participation from renowned distillers from around the world. The judging panel included renowned whisky experts such as Josh Gelfand, whisky warden/spirit guide; Ted Sloniker, whisky educator and aficionado; and over 100 other esteemed jury members.
The art of triple distillation was initially mastered by the Irish distilleries but with the win of Triparva, it has indeed solidified Amrut’s position as a leading innovative giant. Amrut with its distinguished distillation techniques in whisky production has the wherewithal to not only challenge Western counterparts but also surpass them in all parameters tested by the esteemed panel.
The perennially successful Amrut Fusion Single Malt has been honoured with the “Double Gold” title. Fusion is credited with launching the Indian Single malt category into the global arena and with this recognition, it has added another jewel to its crown. Amrut Rye Single Malt Whisky and Amrut Peated Cask Strength Whisky also won gold medals.
Amrut is on a roll, having previously won a record five gold medals at the International Spirits Challenge, the Best Distillery of the Year at the Tokyo Spirits Competition, and now completed a series of wins at the Whiskies of the World.
