Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced the signing of a Gateway and a Ginger hotel in Ludhiana. These greenfield projects will be part of a mixed-use development.

Strategic Expansion in an Emerging Market

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President, Real Estate & Development, IHCL, stated, “Ludhiana’s recognition under the Smart City Mission has spurred significant infrastructure development, leading to a surge in business travel and tourism. The signing of Gateway and Ginger hotels is in line with IHCL’s strategy of building its presence in emerging markets. Hospitality Offerings

The 110-key Gateway Ludhiana will reflect the essence of the city, offering immersive experiences. The hotel will also feature premium amenities, including a gym and swimming pool, along with a 5,000 sq. ft. ballroom designed for events and gatherings.

Furthermore, it will offer the brand’s signature all-day dining experience, Qmin, along with a bar and a 1,000 sq. ft. banquet hall, making it an ideal venue for social and business events.
