Fortune Hotels announces the appointment of Samarth Agarwal as Head of Development. Samarth has two decades of experience in hospitality business development, investments, and consulting.
He has had stints in equity research, specialising in the gaming and lodging industry in the USA. He then transitioned to hotel and real estate consulting at Cushman & Wakefield, providing strategic advice to leading hotel companies, owners, and developers. Following this, Samarth joined InterGlobe Hotels, a joint venture between Accor Hotels and InterGlobe Enterprises, where he worked on the buy-side of hotel investment. In his most recent role, he led the Asset Light (management contracts) growth strategy for Lemon Tree Hotels across India, executing over 50 contracts within just three years, demonstrating his ability to drive rapid and sustainable growth.
In his new role as Head of Development at Fortune Park Hotels Limited, Samarth will be instrumental in expanding the network of Fortune-branded hotels across India. Based in Gurgaon, he will oversee strategic growth initiatives, forge key partnerships, and lead new developments.
