JW Marriott Kolkata announces the appointment of Zibraan Kazi as the new Director of Operations. With an career spanning over 15 years in the hospitality industry, Zibraan brings a wealth of experience and operational expertise to his new role.
A journey of excellence in hospitality
Prior to joining JW Marriott Kolkata, he held leadership roles at several well-known hotels, focusing on improving operations and guest experience.
Most recently, he was with the Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel. He has also worked with St. Regis Mumbai and Grand Mercure Bengaluru Gopalan Mall (Accor Group). His experience includes guest satisfaction management, team leadership, hotel pre-openings, vendor coordination, and staff development.

Beyond his professional experience, Zibraan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from the Dadar Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai (2007), and an MBA in Sales & Marketing from Sikkim Manipal University (2012). His expertise spans:
