Zambar has launched a grand and innovative Idli Festival starting June 25. The restaurant has transformed its menu into a haven for idli lovers with over 20 unique varieties, offering both traditional and inventive takes on the classic steamed delight.

Timeless Favourites Meet Bold Innovations

The festival brings together favourites such as the Steamed Rice Idli, Rava Idli, and Kanchipuram Idli, served with aromatic sambhar and fresh chutneys, alongside bolder reinterpretations like the Chettinad Idli, Gongura Idli, Mysore Idli, and the spicy Curry Leaf Podi Idli, each one coated or tossed in richly flavoured spice pastes and regional masalas.

For those who love a bit of indulgence, there’s the Stuffed Cheese Idli, Crispy Fried Cheese Idli, and Fried Gunpowder Idli perfectly crispy on the outside and bursting with flavour within.

Health-Focused and Fusion Varieties

Health-conscious diners can explore nourishing options like the Multigrain Idli, Ragi Idli, and the wholesome Drumstick Leaves Idli. Meanwhile, fusion takes like Idli Chaat and Fried Finger Idli add a creative, street-style flair to the line-up. One of the festival highlights is the Ghee Podi Thattai Idli, a large, fluffy idli crowned with ghee and podi for a melt-in-your-mouth experience.

A Tribute to South Indian Culinary Depth

“At Zambar, we’ve always celebrated the depth and diversity of South Indian cuisine, and with the Idli Festival, we wanted to spotlight a dish that’s simple yet incredibly versatile. From health-forward options to indulgent, flavour-packed innovations, this festival is our tribute to the many avatars of the humble idli. We’re excited to offer our guests a journey through regional tastes and creative twists, all on one plate.” adds Rohit Aggarwal, Co-founder and Managing Director, Lite Bite Foods.
