Quick Clean, India’s leading provider of Professional Linen Management Solutions, has raised ₹500 million led by Alkemi Growth Capital and Blue Ashva Capital with an additional ₹100 million credit line from Venture Debt Cos.

This investment will accelerate Quick Clean’s footprint into healthcare and hospitality and reinforce its position as a leader in the 36 Billion Dollar Indian commercial laundry industry.

14 Years of Grit and Gumption

Founded in 2010 by Anshul Gupta and his brother Ankur, the Gurugram-based company started by introducing India’s first-ever coin-operated laundromat before evolving into India’s largest importer and distributor of commercial laundry equipment. Achieving early feats like expanding to 45 franchises in their first year of operation, the company successfully brought leading technology providers like Electrolux Professional, Trevil, Rennai, and other global names to India.

At each step, the brother’s bold decisions, fluent strategic shifts, and relentless endeavor led their bootstrapped venture to 36 cities across India, heading a team of 750+ experienced professionals and achieving an ARR of ₹800 million—becoming the only national brand with such an expansive footprint.

Revolutionizing Linen Management

India is one of the fastest developing markets in both the hospitality and healthcare segments, with 2,75,000 rooms in star hotels and 1.45 million beds in hospitals. Experts predict this market will at least triple in the next decade due to increasing domestic and international investments.

With laundry and linen management being a critical vertical for both these industries, “When it comes to a customer or patient, there’s no room for compromise. Linen quality and hygiene must unnegotiable be ensured through researched processes, novel chemistry & cutting-edge technology, not age-old human practices,” said Anshul Gupta, Founder & CEO of the company.

Investor Confidence in Quick Clean’s Vision

As one of the top investors in the healthcare space, Alka Goel, Founder of Alkemi Growth Capital, stated, “Alkemi Growth Capital is pleased to announce our investment in a pioneering laundry company specializing in the hospital segment in India. This investment aligns with our commitment to enhancing healthcare standards and infection prevention in a rapidly growing market.

“With rising healthcare demands and an increasing emphasis on safety protocols, our focus on this sector is driven by the urgent need for advanced, hygienic laundry solutions that can significantly reduce hospital-acquired infections. We believe that this partnership will not only foster innovative practices in cleanliness and efficiency but also contribute to the overall improvement of patient care in India’s healthcare system.”

Satya Bansal, Founder of Blue Ashva Capital, added, “We are excited with the opportunity in Laundry-as-a-Service for Hotels and Hospitality where this is a critical but non-core activity and the market leadership Quick Clean has demonstrated in this space. This is a growing segment with huge untapped potential.”

Impact and Sustainability Commitment

The company boasts over 3,000 installed machines across 120+ five-star hotels and leading healthcare chains, including Taj, Marriott, Fairmont, ITC, Radisson, AIIMS, PMCH, and other large organizations.

Quick Clean has already processed over 600 million kg of linen, saved 210 million liters of water; equivalent to the daily water requirement of 15 lakh households; and reduced 60 million kg of carbon emissions, which would have required 27 lakh trees for a full year to offset.

Quick Clean remains committed to raising hygiene standards, enhancing sustainability, and leading India’s professional linen management revolution.
