The COVID-19 pandemic has deeply impacted economies worldwide, with the hospitality sector particularly badly hit. However, the post-pandemic era has returned to normalcy, and not only daily life but also the hospitality industry has revived.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism is actively promoting the tourism sector, employing initiatives such as sustainable tourism, rural tourism, and adventure tourism, as well as meetings, incentives, and conferences to encourage growth in the sector. According to government data for 2023, India hosted 8,166,000 foreign tourists, surpassing the previous year’s figures. It is estimated that domestic tourism will reach the level seen before the pandemic by 2024–25, while foreign tourist arrivals have increased significantly by about 435% in the last three years.

The hospitality sector, especially the hotel industry, has long been a hub of employment opportunities. With their dynamic environment, diverse roles, and promising career trajectories, hotels offer many pathways to explore and excel in.
