Pullman and Novotel New Delhi Aerocity is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Sumit Kumar as the Front Office Manager. He’ll be responsible for supervising front-office operations, offering excellent services to guests, and sustaining service standards for business distinction in his new job role.

Prior to taking up this role, Sumit held the position of Front Office Manager at Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru where he spearheaded budgeting, forecasting and room division etc. Sumit began his hospitality career with Hilton Chennai followed by Hilton Bangalore in a Duty Manager role after which he moved on to DoubleTree Suites by Hilton, Bengaluru in 2017 as an Assistant Front Office Manager.

Sumit possesses a strong sense of responsibility and leadership and in his stint with management and guest relations roles, he has grasped all-round analytical skills like problem assessment, supervision, oral and written communication skills, records management, inventory management amongst others.

As a passionate hotelier and a management person, he believes in making the most of every small opportunity. Born in Ranchi and raised in Delhi, Sumit completed his bachelor’s degree in hospitality from SRM IHM Chennai and holds a specialized diploma in tourism from IGNOU.

In his spare time, he enjoys working out as he believes in staying fit and eating healthy.
