The Sanskriti University School of Tourism and Hospitality organized a Punjabi food festival, which featured popular cuisines of the state. Students planned and successfully executed this event, under the guidance of their teachers.

Sachin Gupta, Chancellor of Sanskriti University said, “The festival was organized to give practical experience to budding chefs and service personnel. Such initiatives will help them develop their skills and talent in addition to learning teamwork, leadership, planning with overall management skills.”


The students dressed in traditional outfits and then served guests which comprised their peers, faculty and staff members along with their families. Traditional art forms of dance and music of the state were also presented during the festival to keep the crowd entertained during the festival.


Some of the culinary preparations included starters like Murg Malai Tikka Pahadi Tikka, Paneer Tikka, Keema Kebab, Hot tandoori chicken, Malai Kebabs, Tandoori Aloo and Paneer Tikka. The main course featured Murg Makhani, Sarson Da Saag with Makke Di Roti, Rajma Chawal, Kadhi Chawal, Chhole Bhature and Dahi Bhalla.
