India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) has announced its financial results for the third quarter of FY 2025–26, reporting a robust performance driven by improved operational efficiencies and higher traction across key business verticals.
During the quarter, ITDC achieved a recorded turnover, reflecting a 54% increase over the previous quarter and a 28% increase compared to Q3 of the previous financial year. This performance highlights steady quarter-on-quarter improvement and sustained financial discipline across operations.
End-to-end integrated tourism model driving growth
The results underscore continued momentum across the Corporation’s fully integrated travel, tourism, and hospitality ecosystem. ITDC operates on an end-to-end 360-degree model, spanning hospitality services, air travel, premium car and coach rentals, event management, duty-free operations, tourism infrastructure engineering, and capacity building within the hospitality sector.
This integrated approach has enabled ITDC to strengthen alignment across its diverse business verticals while ensuring operational consistency and service delivery across the tourism value chain.
Positive traction across core business verticals
Q3 FY 2025–26 witnessed positive traction across ITDC’s core focus areas, particularly event management, travel and tours, MICE, weddings, and institutional catering. These segments have played a key role in reinforcing the Corporation’s evolving position as a comprehensive tourism services provider.
The growing demand across these verticals reflects ITDC’s ability to respond to varied institutional and market requirements while maintaining service quality and operational efficiency.
Focus on technology integration and data-led decision-making
During the quarter, ITDC continued to strengthen technology integration and data-led decision-making processes. Focused efforts were directed towards enhancing digital systems, analytics capabilities, and customer-centric service delivery frameworks.
These initiatives aim to support better operational visibility, informed decision-making, and improved customer experiences across ITDC’s service offerings.
Leadership perspective on growth and transformation
Commenting on the results, Mugdha Sinha, IAS, Managing Director, ITDC, said, “As ITDC advances into the next phase of its growth journey, coinciding with the Corporation’s 60th year of operations and 70 years of The Ashok, it continues to prioritise strategic transformation, digital enablement, asset optimisation and sustainability-led practices. These initiatives are expected to support improved efficiencies, enhance stakeholder value and long-term sustainable growth, aligned with the Government’s vision for tourism development. As we move ahead towards Amrit Kaal, we remain committed to balancing ITDC’s legacy with innovation and collaborative models that support the tourism ecosystem.”
Drivers behind quarter-on-quarter improvement
ITDC’s quarter-on-quarter improvement has been driven by strengthened operational planning, sharper business alignment, and an increased emphasis on personalised and integrated service delivery. The Corporation has also focused on optimising asset performance while driving demand-led growth across its service portfolio.
These strategic measures continue to reinforce ITDC’s position as a key contributor to India’s tourism and hospitality ecosystem.
