You’ve led several award-winning properties. How do you plan to elevate the long-stay experience in Bengaluru’s evolving hospitality landscape?

Having led several award-winning properties, my focus on elevating the long-stay experience in Bengaluru will centre on:

Personalised Living: Leveraging guest insights to craft bespoke experiences for short-stay or long-stay residents, from flexible housekeeping schedules and customised kitchen facilities in our apartments to curated recommendations of dining offerings in our hotel. Every detail is designed to make extended stays feel seamlessly like home while reflecting the vibrant lifestyle of Bengaluru’s most iconic address.

Enhanced Comfort & Convenience: Upgrading in-room comforts with plush interiors in the room itself, equipped kitchenettes, wellness features, and seamless technology to support both work and relaxation.

Community & Engagement: Creating meaningful guest connections through social events, partnerships with local businesses, and vibrant shared spaces that reflect Bengaluru’s culture and energy.

Operational Excellence: Leveraging my experience to ensure consistency, intuitive service, and a warm, homely environment that both short-stay and long-stay guests value.

Bengaluru attracts both international professionals and leisure travellers. How do you tailor Marriott’s offerings to meet such diverse guest expectations?

Bengaluru attracts a truly global mix of business and leisure travellers, and at Marriott, we tailor our offerings by blending international standards with locally inspired experiences. For professionals, we focus on seamless luxury, flexible meeting solutions, and personalised long-stay amenities. For leisure guests, we enhance the stay with curated dining, wellness experiences, and immersive city recommendations. By balancing global consistency with Bengaluru’s vibrant culture, we ensure every guest whether here for work or relaxation feels understood, supported, and genuinely welcomed.

With 190 serviced apartments, what service and operational principles guide your approach to ensuring comfort, productivity, and seamless long-term stays?

Managing an inventory of 190 keys, which includes premium residences, premier suites, twin rooms, one bedroom apartments, two bedroom apartments and three bedroom apartments requires a strong balance of consistency, personalisation and operational precision. My approach focuses on delivering a long stay yet refined experience prioritising comfort through well-maintained spaces, thoughtful amenities, and flexible housekeeping.

To support productivity, we ensure reliable technology, comfort areas, and prompt responsive service that minimises disruptions. Seamlessness comes from well-trained associates, clear processes, and proactive communication that anticipates long-stay needs. Together, these principles create an environment where guests can live, work, and relax effortlessly throughout their extended stay.

How do personalised experiences and thoughtful design contribute to redefining the modern long-stay hospitality experience at Marriott Executive Apartments Bengaluru UB City?

At Marriott Executive Apartments Bengaluru UB City, personalised experiences and thoughtful design are at the heart of redefining the modern long-stay journey. Every touchpoint is crafted to balance the warmth of home with the sophistication of Marriott hospitality.

Our culinary offerings, from the regional flavours of Madras Kitchen to global comfort cuisine at The Market, to the immersive Asian dining experience with Robatayaki cuisine at The Roof Grill & Bar by the poolside, allow guests to enjoy variety and authenticity without leaving the property. For convenience, our kiosk Grab & Go ensures quick, quality options for guests on the move, while the Bar offers an inviting space to unwind or connect. Complementing this, the Solace Spa provides holistic wellness treatments that enrich both relaxation and recovery. Combined with intuitive service, elegant apartment design, and curated guest personalisation, we create a long-stay environment that feels elevated, effortless, and uniquely tailored to each resident.

With your global hospitality experience, how do you balance Marriott’s international standards with local nuances to create a distinctive guest journey?

With global hospitality experience, I’ve learned that the most memorable guest journeys come from harmonising strong international standards with genuine local character. At Marriott, our global benchmarks ensure consistency, safety, and service excellence, while local nuances, whether in cuisine, design, cultural touches, or associate interactions, bring authenticity and warmth.

By empowering teams to deliver service that is both brand-aligned and culturally intuitive, we create experiences that feel familiar to international travellers yet deeply connected to Bengaluru’s vibrant identity. This balance allows us to offer a distinctive guest journey that is globally trusted and locally enriching.

As you lead the property into its next phase, what kind of organisational or cultural impact do you aim to create for your team and the guest community?

My goal is to build a culture rooted in empowerment, accountability, and genuine care both for our associates and our guests. I want to create an environment where our team feels confident to take initiative, innovate, and deliver service that is warm, intuitive, and aligned with Marriott’s values.

Culturally, I aim to foster collaboration, continuous learning, and a strong sense of pride in the unique experiences we offer. For our guest community, this translates into a welcoming, high-engagement atmosphere where every interaction feels personal and sincere. Ultimately, I want the property to be known not only for its exceptional operations but also for its people-centric culture that inspires trust, loyalty, and long-term relationships.

What is your leadership philosophy or everyday practice that helps you foster a motivated, empowered, and guest-centric culture?

My leadership philosophy is grounded in leading by example, empowering teams, and creating an environment of trust and ownership. I believe in being present on the floor, listening actively, and recognising everyday contributions and small gestures that build a motivated and connected workforce.

I encourage associates to make thoughtful decisions independently, knowing they have my support, because empowered teams deliver more authentic and guest-centric service. Continuous learning, open communication, and celebrating wins together form the backbone of my daily practice. Ultimately, I strive to cultivate a culture where people feel valued, confident, and inspired to create memorable experiences for every guest.

Long-stay guests often form a close-knit community. How do you and your team nurture that sense of belonging to ensure guests continue to return?
