Predictions of students from Class 6 and 7 of Vishwavidyala School, Chikkamagaluru, on how they perceive India’s progress ten years from now were sealed in a ‘time capsule’ and kept in storage to be opened around 26th January 2036 marking India’s 87th Republic Day. The event, held at the Freedom Fighters Memorial, Chikkamagaluru was conducted by the Brigade Foundation. Over 100 children participated in the event, sharing their views as part of the celebrations for India’s 77th Republic Day.

The sealed capsule was handed over by Prem Kumar CR, President Vishwavidyalaya to Brigade Foundation representative M.R Gurumurthy.
Students share predictions across key themes
As part of the initiative, each student’s views on themes such as environment and nature, public and private transportation, education and learning, healthcare, space technology, sports, technology, rural empowerment, food security etc.
