The 16th Hotelier India Awards, hosted by Hotelier India- the country’s most loved and respected hospitality magazine – spotlighted the brightest talents in the industry.

Amongst the winners across the 20 categories, the magazine also recognised some very special individuals whose contributions have not just elevated their organisation but have profoundly impacted the Indian hospitality landscape as a whole.

Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, India’s Minister for Tourism and Culture, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, presented the Special Awards at the awards ceremony.

And this year, it was presented to Vivek Nair, Co-Chairman and Co-Managing Director of HLV Ltd.

A pioneering force whose vision has defined luxury hospitality in India, connecting the country’s heritage with global sophistication, Vivek Nair’s foresight and discipline have ensured that landmark hotels remain enduring symbols of excellence.

Beyond assets, his advocacy has strengthened the industry itself, contributing to the recognition of hospitality as critical infrastructure.

From regional impact to national influence, his legacy is monumental. Recognising a true titan of Indian hospitality, Hotelier India proudly honoured him with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
