Cygnett Hotels strengthens leadership team with key strategic appointments

Hospitality chain welcomes seasoned experts across culinary, learning & development, and technology functions.

Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has appointed Rahul Rana as Director–Culinary, bringing 22 years of global experience across Accor, Marriott, Hyatt, InterContinental and Sarova Hotels. A Switzerland-trained professional, Chef Rana has led award-winning culinary teams and launched several speciality restaurants worldwide, with expertise spanning modern techniques and large-scale buffet presentations.

Elevating learning & development capabilities

The group has named Sanjit Kumar Thakur as Corporate Learning & Development Manager. With nearly 15 years of hospitality experience, an IHM Kolkata background, and an MBA in HRM, Thakur brings strong operational insight and talent-building expertise from his roles with Taj, Oberoi, Radisson, Sarovar and Accor.

Strengthening technology and digital transformation

Cygnett has also appointed Ravvinder Bhola as General Manager – Information Technology. With over two decades of experience across Starwood, Taj and Marriott, Bhola specialises in digital transformation, cybersecurity, IT governance and system integration—critical capabilities for modern, tech-driven hotel operations.
