IHCL to open a Taj hotel on Chennai ECR

Set across 13 acres of beachfront land, the upcoming Taj ECR Chennai promises a world-class blend of luxury, leisure, and business hospitality.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced the signing of a Taj hotel on ECR in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This is a greenfield development.

A beachfront haven offering luxury and versatility

Spread across 13 acres of pristine beachfront land, the 151-key Taj ECR Chennai, Tamil Nadu will offer direct views of the Bay of Bengal. Designed to offer a harmonious blend of leisure and business, the hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant, two specialty restaurants, and a bar.

Guests can indulge in rejuvenating experiences at Taj’s signature J Wellness Circle, alongside a state-of-the-art gym, swimming pool, and other recreational amenities. The resort will be the ideal destination for large-scale events and conventions, with two large banquet venues of approximately 10,000 and 5,300 square feet, multiple meeting rooms and expansive beachfront lawns.
