Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich was awarded 2011 Best New Opening Hotel in China at the 3rd Hotel Industry Summit forum held in Shenzhen last month. Christophe Lauras, the General Manager of Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich was also awarded as he was one of the recipients for the Top Ten Outstanding General Managers in China.
The award was presented by the International Tourism Federation president, Eric Duluc, who came personally from France for the occasion.
The 3rd Hotel Industry forum is hosted by China’s Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Commerce in partnership with the Paris based International Tourism Federation.
